On Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, we eat apples, why do we eat apples, they where the first fruit eaten in Gan Eden, Hebrew words for the Garden of Eden. We dip the apples in honey, symbolizing sweetness for the year ahead.

When eating other fruits we think of ourselves as to what type of person we are. I like to be kind kindness goes a long way. In our prayers we ask for life, health, sweetness, happiness, and prosperity, Amen.

Shanah Tovah, Ketivah VaChatimah Tovah, Have a good year, and May you be written and sealed in the book of life, Amen.
