Spring Cleaning, usually happens on a cool rainy days in the springtime. The cleaning process usually involves a trip to some store that carries containers of some sort.
The one object that cannot be contained in a closet, shoes, and usually during Spring Cleaning a gazillion shoes will be tossed. Garbologist, pay attention and check those dumpsters during spring.
Origins of Spring Cleaning date back to biblical times, so perhaps the sign is correct. “Without Clothes You’d Be Naked.” Having one piece of clothing, and on Spring Cleaning day, you probably were naked.
